I called BL Autos on Monday to book appointment for my car as I could hear strange noise on my peugeot partner coming from left side tyre. They booked me in for Thursday (today). Upon arrival, the team was very friendly and welcoming. They told me it was 1 hour wait which i did not really mind. I had a nice chat to Ian on reception desk about what the problem could be and how it will be sorted. They put my car up on the ramp and they quickly diagnosed that it is steering rack which is making the noise. Because of their knowledge, they told me it could be sorted all today along with a full service. To get steering rack sorted and full service they quoted me £480 - very reasonable price. Better than other garages where i got quoted more than £1000! They told me the car will be ready by 2pm and yes they were right. At 2pm i received a call from team the car is ready i went down they told me everything the works which were carried out. I am due to go back on 24th to do my timebelt service. All in all, I would definetly recommened this garage to any peugeot or citroen owner! It might cost you £100 more but these guys know what they are doing. My car drives as new now. I would like to thank Ian and his team for the expertise, greath in depth knowledge and for repairing my car. Top notch people! Thanks once again! Update 14th January 2025 = Bought my to Ian and his team for alternator replacement = once again top notch job! My car became unresponsive and battery sign came up and engine shut down, wouldnt even start. Called insurance, arranged recovery and bought it straight down to BL Autos. Upon checking, it was alternator. Dropped it off Monday 3pm and by Tuesday 3.30pm was ready for collection. Would highly recommened. Thanks to Ian and his team. Will surely have my repeat business in future
Extremely knowledgeable and helpful folk. And probably one of the only places in the UK to take a Citroën C6 for technical intervention! (NEVER entrust a C6 with a Citroën dealer!!)
Outstanding. Fabulous expertise and genuine, very friendly and considerate people. I had come from Birmingham with a C6 problem too difficult for local experience (despite the excellence of my good friend in Stirchley). They knew exactly how to deal with it and spared no pains. I gather others have come from Newcastle. I cannot imagine a better team for the Citroen and Peugeot than this.
They sorted out a potentially catastrophic oil leak a few weeks ago and, today, organised the MOT of my 14 year-old Peugeot. Such a personal service and so friendly. They also offered me free advice on a couple of issues that I can probably resolve myself. Their workshop is a mess (stuff all over the place) but, don't be put off. They are experts, know what they are doing, are nice to deal with and are not rip-off merchants.
